Every person already has inherent value, strengths, and goodness, and I believe schools have the opportunity to bring out the very best in people. As a Special Education Teacher with more than 17 years of experience, I understand how schools work and what helps them succeed. I'm passionate about supporting student well-being, teacher well-being, strong family partnerships, and building connections throughout our entire community. I bring a leadership style grounded in optimism, compassion, and collaboration. One of the strengths is my ability to bring people together, create understanding, and find common ground. I believe that when people feel heard, respected, and encouraged, we make better decisions and build stronger schools together.
That's what Educational Well-Being means to me: creating school communities where every person has the opportunity to become their very best self. That's the perspective I hope to bring to the Washington Township Board of Education.
My policy priority is teacher and student well-being, building upon the positive work already happening in our schools. I want to continue strengthening the ways we support our students and educators, because well-being and high academic achievement go hand in hand. When students and teachers feel valued, supported, and connected, we create the conditions where they can do their best—and where meaningful learning and high achievement can continue to grow.
